Celadon ceramic tray, 'Floral Wheel'

Regarded as sacred, this lotus flower is transformed into a tray of splendid elegance; it is fashioned after those used for temple offerings. Sorapon Dhupagupta designs this florid tray in honor of Thailand's celadon legacy. A unique ceramic tradition, celadon wares have been hand-crafted in Thailand for over ten centuries; they are characterized by a soft green coloring and a slightly crackled enamel surface.
